Ivan Seliminski Cultural Center – Greek – Bulgarian Cultural Association or Seliminski Center
Activities:
а) To manage the Office of the Organization, where a Citizens’ Information Center and a Library shall be at their disposal.
b) To undertake actions before the competent authorities on the behalf of the members of the Organization in connection to problems which may arrise, as well as to provide the respective clarification of public opinion,
c) To create departments for sports, dances, music, etc. in order to ensure creative occupation for the members and especially for young members,
d) To organize series of seminars (named „Vasil Levski“ or named otherwise), which will function as “Sunday School” and will be addressed to children of school and preschool age, who aspire to learn Greek language, Bulgarian Language and literature, history, civilization, geography, environmental studies, music or other educational subject,
e) To organize seminars in Bulgarian and Greek language or seminars with other educational contents,
f) To organize meetings, conferences, educational excursions and other cultural and sport events for the members ot the Organization as well as for larger audience,
g) To publish newspapers, books and other printed materials or their digital versions, as well as to maintain an internet site in order to inform the community on issues concerning the purposes and the activities of the Organization,
h) To maintain close contacts and to cooperate with other non-profit organizations, unions, social, state, cultural and educational entities in order to perform common activities and initiatives, as well as to organize and participate in programms and projects in accordance with the purposes of Seliminski Center.
