Participants in the event were the Embassies of the EU countries, organized by European Parliament&nbsp; Service and European Commission Representation Office in Greece.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s event was dedicated to the European Year of Youth and was aimed at presenting activities and initiatives supporting the social, professional and personal development of young people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the stand of Bulgaria a presentation of Bulgarian universities was displayed as well as opportunities for cultural and educational activities for young people in Greece and Bulgaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cultural and natural landmarks of our country were prepared by Seliminski Center and \u00abVasil Levski\u00bb Sunday school in cooperation with \u00abKiril and Methodyi\u00bb and \u00abPaisyi Hilendarski\u00bb Sunday schools in Athens. The visitors were given the opportunity of degustation Bulgarian wine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentation materials about Bulgaria as a touristic destination were distributed as well as a specially prepared brochure on the opportunities for Higher education in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 8th May at Zapion Conference Center in Athens, following the tradition, an event for the Day of Europe was held.
